This is one of my favourite times of year in Ontario. The changing colour of the trees, the many fall fairs and all the farm fresh fruits and veggies!

Apples and pears are my favourite fruits. They are great sources of fibre. Farm fresh cucumber and leeks make great additions to your recipes. And of course, there are sweet potatoes, pumpkin and squash – all good sources of vitamin A and carotenoids. My favourite are fresh sweet potato fries (in moderation!).
